Australian Opal Pearl Pendant Necklace

A truly one of a kind coastal heirloom featuring a luminous Australian opal pendant suspended from a hand strung freshwater pearl necklace. This piece showcases beautiful flashes of peach, champagne, lavender, soft violet, and electric blue that dance across the surface of the opal as it moves through different lighting conditions.

The pendant is handcrafted with a durable 14k gold filled bezel and findings, including the crimp beads and jump ring, while the backplate is solid .925 sterling silver with an open back design that allows light to interact naturally with the stone and highlight its incredible play of color.

The necklace is hand strung with genuine freshwater pearls and measures approximately 15 inches in length, hanging at about 16 inches when worn due to the pendant drop and toggle closure.

Gold filled jewelry contains a thick layer of real 14k gold that is permanently bonded to a jeweler’s brass core. Unlike standard gold plating, gold filled jewelry contains significantly more gold, making it highly durable, tarnish resistant, and suitable for everyday wear with proper care. It offers the beauty and longevity of solid gold at a more accessible price point.

Every opal is unique and displays its own natural patterns, color flashes, and characteristics. This stone shifts beautifully between warm sunset tones and vibrant flashes of blue and violet, making it an eye catching statement piece that feels both elegant and effortless.
