Meet the Maker, Ellie

Hi! My name is Ellie Louizes, the owner and creator of Crystal Lou Designs and the girl in the picture right there! 

I was born and raised in Daytona Beach Florida, home of the most famous beach. 

I love the beach, i live about half a mile from the coast and frequently walk to the beach. I also enjoy other outdoor activities including going to the springs, hiking, and rock-climbing. 

My passions don’t just include creating timeless heirloom jewelry, i also LOVE reptiles (i have thirteen snakes, and four geckos) crazy i know right.

I am a blue belt in Bjj (Jujitsu) which takes on average two plus years to achieve which I'm super proud of! 

My Jewelry making Journey began in the Summer of 2020. I saw a youtube video of a simple wire wrapped pendant and thought to myself “I can do that” and almost 2 years later i began Metal smithing! 

On top of making Jewelry full time, i run my families businesses on the beach that has been in business since 1948.
